I am the Director of Parks and Recreation for Thomaston–Upson County, where I provide executive leadership over comprehensive recreation programs, facilities, and operations serving our community. I oversee departmental budgeting, personnel, and strategic initiatives, and work closely with county leadership to support long-range planning, capital improvements, and high-quality recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.
I am a graduate of Upson–Lee High School and served in the United States Marine Corps, where I developed a strong foundation in leadership, accountability, and operational management. After my military service, I transitioned into education and athletics, teaching multiple subject areas and coaching football and track at the high school level before moving into public parks and recreation administration.
I am passionate about building sustainable recreation systems, developing staff, improving facilities and programs, and expanding access to safe, inclusive, and impactful recreational opportunities. I value collaboration, clear communication, and servant leadership, and I am committed to strengthening parks and recreation services through innovation, partnerships, and community engagement.
